Questioning Pseudoscience

So Pope Benedict says that the universe was designed. Big deal. That does not contradict what John Paul said about accepting what science finds back to the Big Bang. The origin of the Big Bang is where God is. Saying that the universe and its physical laws were designed is a far cry from saying that the individual creatures on this specific planet were individually crafted by one or more supernatural, intelligent beings. IDers, the creationists of this decade, will grasp at any straw that they think supports their fantasy.
